Steve - The final text reads "rished" rather than "rushed" - which whilst being dialectically correct for north Cornwall (!) may want changing. Also the "rival" featured is Richard Trevithick who wasn't a rival to Gurney and his "Catch me who can" engine preceded Gurney's work by some years.
